WalletHub recently ranked the Garden State as the ninth worst in the country -- the absolute most terrible being Hawaii and best, Oregon.
The outlet compared 30 key indicators of a positive commute including gas prices, rush-hour traffic congestion and road quality.
The findings show that New Jersey is the fifth worst for auto-maintenance costs and third worst for rush-hour traffic congestion.
